YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED
Frequently Asked Questions
If I purchase a kit today, what are my options for emergency medication auto-replenishment?
We offer two distinct ways to enroll in our auto-replenishment program for kits: the Auto-Replenishment Service (ARS) and the Annual Membership Program (AMP).
With ARS, medications in your kit are replenished before they expire and you only pay when they ship.
AMP is a bit different. You pay one flat annual fee and all expiring medications are replenished at no additional cost for the length of that year. We will also replace up to two medications used in an emergency. Dental professionals will also gain access to our library of continuing education courses.
Are dental offices required to have an emergency medical kit?
Requirements vary by state dental board and local regulations. Many states mandate that dental offices maintain an emergency medical kit containing specific medications and devices. Even in states without explicit requirements, having a kit supports patient safety and readiness.
What medications are typically included in a dental emergency kit?
A dental emergency medical kit commonly contains medications such as epinephrine auto-injectors, nitroglycerin tablets, antihistamines, bronchodilators, aspirin, and glucose. Kits may also include devices like oxygen delivery components, airway management tools, and blood pressure monitors. Exact contents vary based on the kit selected.
How often should medications in my kit be replaced?
Medications should be replaced before their expiration date to ensure they remain effective. With our OnTraq system, you can easily track expiration dates, lot numbers, and upcoming replenishment shipments so your kit remains compliant and ready.
Do you provide oxygen delivery equipment in the kit?
Many of our dental emergency medical kits include oxygen delivery components, such as masks, tubing, and regulators. The specific items included will depend on the kit selected — you can view detailed contents on each product page.
Is training included with the emergency medical kit?
Training is available as an add-on purchase, or if you choose to purchase a kit on our membership program you get access to 5 CE courses at no additional charge.
Are my medications auto-replenished if I buy a kit and don't sign up for the Annual Membership Program?
Yes, all STAT KIT Series kits come standard with automatic replenishment. You will be billed as the medications expire instead of paying one flat annual fee.
If I buy a kit today, can I sign up for the Annual Membership Program in the future?
Yes. You can always enroll in the Annual Membership Program in the future if you already own a kit or are buying a kit today.
What is the difference between the nine kit options?
The nine kits have slight differences in medications. See our product selector to choose the best option for you.
What is OnTraq?
OnTraq is HealthFirst’s online application that reduces the risks, headaches and costs of managing emergency readiness. All HealthFirst customers have access at no cost.
I have purchased other products from HealthFirst that monitor in OnTraq. If I sign up for the Annual Membership Program, will it roll into the same OnTraq platform?
Yes. Your OnTraq account will aggregate all HealthFirst products in one fully interactive experience.
